| BUDGET ALLOCATION |

| Funds in the department are received from the State Government and in the form of grants from the government of India. The government has sanctioned plan and non plan budget under different budget heads. However, there was shortfall in some budget heads. Accordingly, the matter regarding additional budget requirements was pursued at different levels and got sanctioned additional budget in plan and nonplan budget head to the tune of Rs. 81,55,000 to complete the ongoing construction work of RFSL, Mandi and to bring down pendency in the DNA division and Cyber cases. And that enabled the institution to complete the tasks in hand. |

| BUDGET TO THE TUNE OF RS. 83,00,000 WAS RECEIVED FROM GOVERNMENT OF INDIA IN TH THE 11 FIVE YEAR PLAN TO SET-UP TWO DISTRICT MOBILE FORENSIC UNITS IN THE YEAR 2010-11. EFFORTS ARE ON TO UTILIZE THE FUNDS TO SET-UP DISTRICT MOBILE FORENSIC UNITS. |
